Our audition process has been carefully designed to identify passionate, hardworking and dedicated young performers with string potential and a genuine commitment to training at the highest level,
Successful applicants will gain access to monthly industry led training in commercial dance, musical theatre, singing and acting, delivered by leading West End and industry professionals at Shockout Arts, Manchester.

An exclusive, audition only associate programme for ambitious young performers aged 6-19, delivering immersive Sunday intensives that combine elite training, expert mentorship and genuine industry insight at Shockout Arts, Manchester.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Auditions will take place in a professional workshop style environment designed to feel inspiring, welcoming and high energy, whilst allowing our faculty to identify performers with strong potential, versatility and commitment.
Applicants will take part in:
• A Commercial Dance Class
• Musical Theatre Workshop
• Singing Audition
• Acting Audition

WHAT TO PREPARE
All applicants should prepare:
Singing solo
A short song of your choice
Maximum length: 1 minute 30 seconds
Please bring:
• Sheet music clearly marked for the pianist (preferred)
or
• A backing track
Monologue
A short monologue
Approximately 1 minute
Please wear comfortable dancewear suitable for movement.
Recommended footwear:
• Jazz shoes
• Trainers
Applicants will also be required to learn choreography on the day.
